The bedrooms consist of a double with a balcony, an en-suite shower, and a twin, serviced by a bathroom. Outside, there is a rear terraced garden area and a designated parking place. Steeped in history and intriguing architecture there is always plenty to do and see. Just meandering through the Georgian cobbled streets is a pleasure in itself. With many peaceful parks all within a short stroll from the centre it is a most relaxing city to visit. A wonderful day trip can be had from Truro to Falmouth along the stunning Fal estuary with many options to disembark and pick up the boat later along the scenic river trip.

We have stayed in other properties in this complex before. Sadly this one wasn’t as good. Overall it looked tired inside and not up to the standard we were expecting. The “Queen size bed” was actually 2 singles pushed together without a topper and very uncomfortable as a consequence. Mouldy shower, with a shower head that wouldn’t stay above its lowest setting. Sticky tape on the floor of the other bathroom holding down a loose tile. Heater hanging off the wall downstairs. Pictures on VRBO showed different furniture snd decor from what we found on arrival. Porthtowan lovely as usual and location of villa great
