We stayed at Le Picholine in mid July. We were specifically travelling to the area to see the Mont Ventoux stage of the Tour de France. We were very lucky to stay at this property. Excellent communication initially with the fantastic host Chloe gave us perfect instructions on all we needed to know about our stay. Chloe even provided us with an olive quinoa as a gift at our arrival - very tasty and a lovely touch! Other food options were available at a reasonable price if you didn't want to cook or go out to eat. Again, a very novel idea! The property is located in the beautiful small town of Mazan, close to Bedoin at the foot of Ventoux. There is a U-Super supermarket nearby and the town itself (easily walkable) has numerous vibrant bars and restaurants. The property itself - whaw! Fantastic, almost new property. Gated entrance for maximum safefy. Off road parking, an outside veranda and plentiful space. Inside was spotless! A beautifully appointed kitchen and open dining area. The bedrooms were very clean and airy with beautiful lighting. Two separate washing areas, one up and one down with two showers. All the fixtures and fittings were in perfect working condition. An excellent base to explore Ventoux and the surrounding area including Lac des Salettes, which is a beautiful safe swimming lake. All this at a very competitive and reasonable price for such high end accomodation. Thank you Chloe and family for letting us stay at this property and for the welcome!
