Had all the amenities we were looking for. The hot tub was nice, and you could adjust the water temperature. The changing lights around the hot tub was a fun feature. Even though it's deep in the trees, the outside was well kept. You didn't have to walk through spider webs to get inside. It was away from the main roads, beautiful scenery, and deer that visited daily. The inside was clean minus the linens mentioned below. The bath towels were nice but there were no washcloths available except 2 make up remover ones. It's minutes from downtown. The ceiling fans were nice and the remote lighting was too.
None of the bedding appeared to have been washed but instead just remade. The sofa is made up for someone to sleep on but the sheets were dirty and there was still a piece of trash behind the decorative pillows. Luckly there was a washer and dryer, so I washed all the bedding that night. The door handle to the back deck was very loose and falling off. The sliding shower door wouldn’t stay closed. The fireplace wouldn’t turn on and looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned or serviced in quite some time due to the multiple dead wasps laying inside of it. There were no instructions on how to turn the hot tub off. We arrived after dark and was not informed of the cabin number. When you arrive there’s a sign that directs you in the direction of cabin numbers. I texted the owner and they didn’t know the number but just that it was called the Love Shack and sent me a picture of the sign on the cabin. It’s very dark and you can’t see the cabins well at all. I don't know that the owners have ever visited the cabin itself since they could've said go left at the fork in the road at the bottom of the hill and it's the 2nd cabin on the left.
