Sailmakers is the perfect holiday home located a short stroll from famous West Wittering beach. Ideal for families and four-legged friends alike, the property offers a generous, enclosed rear garden — a true sun trap — complete with a BBQ and plenty of outdoor furniture, making it the perfect setting for al fresco dining, relaxed afternoons, or letting the children and dogs play safely.
Inside, you’ll find a bright, welcoming space that nods to its nautical past while offering all the comforts of home. The original sail making space has been converted into the delightful main living room, it features high-speed Wi-Fi and flatscreen smart TV as well as plenty of seating. The heart of the house is a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, complete with everything you need to cook up a family feast. A large dining table comfortably seats eight, and in the cooler months, the traditional Aga is available for use in addition to the oven, and adds a cosy, country kitchen feel during the winter season.
The property sleeps up to eight guests across four thoughtfully designed bedrooms: upstairs there is one king and one twin room, and on the ground floor you will find a further king and bunk bed room, perfect for younger guests.
Upstairs, the South facing living area opens out onto the balcony with sea view glimpse — a perfect retreat for sunset drinks or curling up with a good book. This floor also features a handy kitchenette equipped with a kettle, fridge freezer, and sink, offering extra convenience for guests.

Sailmakers is on a private road, half way between East Wittering with its independent shops and eating places and West Wittering with its fabulous sandy beach.
The pebbly beach is literally two minutes walk from Sailmakers and swimming is possible at high tide, low tide and anything in between. Pebbles drop down to sand so walking is better at low tide.
The house was perfect for us, we ate outside every day and loved the balcony on the front of the house. We'll definitely return.
