Frongoch Old Power House is in a wonderful location. It has been stylishly renovated and is a warm house. There’s plenty of hot water and good showers.
When we arrived there was a slight smell of sewage. This increased overnight especially in the upstairs double bedroom. It dissipated the following day. There does seem to be a problem with the system. There are several other guest comments in the visitors book and it seems that local people are concerned too.
There’s a wonderful range cooker, but not enough utensils and containers to use it! Perhaps some cooks advice needed. Considering the house sleeps 7, there’s only 6 chairs around the central table and there’s a rather haphazard array of glasses, bowls and mugs. Having said all that, we were a group of 4 and made it work.
The phone sockets in the downstairs bedroom need checking out.

Beautiful location, property finished to a very high spec. Essentials of milk, butter biscuits cake, and bottle of Prosecco were a lovely touch and much appreciated. We would certainly return.
The Wi-Fi dropped out on the first evening and as the router was not available to reboot it meant no TV, however this did not really detract from our stay.
