Oldfield is situated on a working farm, in a lovely rural location on the edge of Salisbury Plain. Longleat Safari Park, Bath, even the coast is not far away. A pub/restaurant a half a mile walk away down the hill!. Ground Floor:

Really lovely holiday cottage, perfect for our family of 5 adults. The garden backs onto the crop fields and is full of birds, so they were great entertainment in the morning and early evening. The house is well laid out and cosy, I particularly enjoyed the choice of artwork, lots of bird and horse antique pictures. The bedrooms are spacious. In a really good location, you can walk into Warminster and it is a reasonable distance from a number of heritage sites, so many that we couldn’t fit them all in.

We found the accommodation for my partner and I was very spacious, which we hoped it would be. Bedrooms are large with great views over fields and courtyard. Lots of bird life which was great for us to see. The rooms are decorated in a farmhouse style and are very adequate. I would add that some updating of furniture would increase the appeal and brightness of this accommodation.
