A very special experience awaits you on the site of the Rabensteiner Stollen visitor mine: our rustic group hut for self-catering. Two lovingly reconstructed miners' huts invite you to enjoy a cosy stay here, where miners once had to endure a hard day's work.
The huts were built according to historical models and provide exciting insights into the living and working conditions of past centuries. At the same time, they offer everything a simple but authentic group accommodation needs.
Facilities & atmosphere
Total area: approx. 100 m², built entirely from wood
Heating: Original wood-fired Bullerjan stove provides cosy warmth
Lounge: Rustic wooden tables and benches with sheepskins for cosy evenings
Kitchen: Self-catering kitchen with electricity, hot running water, gas cooker, mini oven, coffee machine and toaster as well as basic equipment with washing-up liquid, tea towels etc.
Sanitary facilities: Toilets, washing facilities and showers with hot water
Sleeping facilities
2 bedrooms: for 6 and 8 people
Sleeping loft: for 4 people
Note: Only mattresses are available. Please bring your own sleeping bag or blankets, pillows, sheets and covers.
Ideal for groups
Whether on foot, by bike, motorbike or car - the hut is a perfect starting point for discovery tours in the Harz Mountains. The Harzquerbahn railway stop is right next to the site, making your journey or excursion even more exciting.
