The location was INCREDIBLE - so glad we spent the extra money on having a location so close to everything. The living room and kitchen was very spacious and well appointed. It was great to have a full sized fridge available. The master bedroom was incredibly spacious. We also deeply appreciate how accommodating and flexible the homeowner was when we left something behind. They arranged with us to collect it two weeks later - we are sincerely grateful for their willingness to do this. Wonderful hosts.
We were in a group of 7 people, so we used every bedroom. What we found was that there was a big difference in experience between the guests in their various rooms. The master suite was amazing, the second bedroom was good. The small bedroom that my mother slept in was oddly arranged, with the bed kind of sitting in the middle of the room with only a half wall behind it. My two sons were in the bunk beds, and they did not have not very much room for their suitcases along with themselves in their room. Also the person who was to sleep on the sofa bed, couldn't open the sofa bed on the stairs platform because a desk was in front of it, so she had to sleep on the couch, which was very uncomfortable for her.
