Very spacious. clean and well-equipped one bedroom apartment / cabin in fantastic position on beachfront property - a bit far from town centre

Eine sehr angenehme und ruhig gelegene Unterkunft in Algies Bay, Die Lage direkt am Meer ist wunderschön und gleichzeitig gut vom Flughafen Auckland erreichbar, was die Anreise sehr entspannt macht.
Besonders gefallen hat uns die persönliche Note – das Haus ist geprägt von viel Geschichte und spannenden Einblicken in das Leben der ersten Siedler in Neuseeland.
Die Gespräche mit dem Besitzer waren sehr herzlich und bereichernd.
Die Unterkunft selbst ist gepflegt und gut ausgestattet. Ein kleines Highlight war der beeindruckende Feigenbaum im Garten – der größte, den wir je gesehen haben, mit köstlichen Früchten.
Das Wetter hat bei uns leider nicht ganz mitgespielt, sonst wäre es eine klare 10 von 10 gewesen – so bleibt es bei einer sehr starken 9,5.

Location was fantastic. Waterfront caravan Park type setting with wooden cottages. Free boats, canoes available to guests. Nice host.
The cottages are dated with low specifications. Living room is a bit congested.
