Staff were very friendly.
Indian restaurant below was very nice and very affordable.
Area wasn't far from our planned day trip.
Mattresses were comfortable
Apartment is huge.
I feel awful saying it as the staff were really nice but it wasn't cleaned very well. There were cotton buds in the bathroom bin and bits of tissue behind it. A used tissue behind the bedside table. Had to pull it out as my child lost something behind it. There was toilet duck down the toilet that looked like it had dried on. There was fairy liquid at the kitchen and hand soap at the bathroom that had the tiniest bit which had been watered down so wasn't worth even having. Would have been better with nothing there. There were no towels at all. Not even a hand towel and bedding was all mismatched. Bedding was clean though. I definitely don't think a cleaner goes in. Maybe they do it themselves. Sorry staff members. Just being honest 🙈
It says 2 bathrooms in write up. It's a bath and sink in one and toilet and sink in the other. Not two actual bathrooms.
Also, says free WiFi, we didn't see a modem and wasn't anything with a code and our phone Internet wasn't that great.
Overall, it was okay for one night.

We had a meal in the Indian restaurant below, which was very nice. The staff there were friendly and nice, which added to the experience.
The facilities were a bit basic, but we were fine with that - a good price for a comfortable place to stop, and a very kind and friendly host.

Owner was very helpful and the property was lovely and warm on a cold day and night
Comfortable bed with plenty of hot water and a kitchen with everything we needed.
Used the indian restaurant downstairs which belonged to the owner and the food was extremely good and staff very hospital.

Spacious property with comfortable bed. I found it had everything I needed for my stay and the host was excellent checking in once I had arrived to make sure I was happy and making sure the heating was on for when I got there. I found the property to be clean and we’ll equipped. I think for the money I paid £73 it was well worth it. The property is in a good location close to Wakefield town centre and easy access to the motorway network.
The property is described as luxurious which it isn’t and is a bit miss leading. The plug hole was missing from the bath and the seal is missing on the shower screen so water leaks on the floor. There is damage to cupboards and missing drawers. This is an old pub repurposed as an Indian restaurant and these are the old landlords living quarters above. The fixtures and fittings require attention as there’s tv cables in the walls with no tvs and broken blinds. The access is up some steps to the side of the property but the access to the old pub still remains which is locked but has a window which is a bit of putting I would block this window off.
