Villa Mian - Un paraíso en Benalmádena

Beautiful, peaceful and amazing views. Uber supermarket delivery no problems. Kids and adults all loved the large private pool

Couldn’t fault it the only thing I could say is bins could be closer rather than walking up and down a hill with rubbish.

We stayed at Villa Mian for the week of our wedding, and it was a perfect base for one of the most important times in our lives. The house is spacious, beautiful, clean, and full of light, with lovely decor and incredible outdoor areas that made for amazing photos, meals, and shared moments with family. The pool was always clean and a great temperature, and the layout of the villa allowed everyone to be together while still having space to relax. I stayed in the master bedroom, which was ideal for getting ready on the wedding morning — it had a spacious layout, lots of natural light, a walk-in wardrobe, and a large bathroom with great mirrors. All the bedrooms were comfortable, with fresh-smelling towels, excellent air conditioning, and soft bedding. The kitchen was very well equipped, with a large fridge and freezer, and we had everything we needed to cook. Laundry facilities were great, and the villa had strong Wi-Fi throughout. We especially appreciated the privacy between rooms — it never felt crowded, even with a full house. The hosts were kind, generous, and very responsive. They provided cots and a highchair for our babies, complimentary drinks on arrival, and even gave us rug-style towels when we hadn’t brought our own. The check-in was smooth, with a helpful video to guide us through everything, including how to arrive from the main road. It’s clear how much care and love the owners have put into this project. This villa is an absolute must-stay for anyone visiting Málaga/Benalmádena, and I hope I can come back someday.

There were a couple of minor things we noticed during the week — none of which affected our stay in any meaningful way. One of the shutters wasn’t working by the end, and a few switches or sockets weren’t immediately obvious (though we never asked, so that’s on us). One room had a slight drain smell, likely from the en-suite, but again, we didn’t raise it until the end and it never became a real issue. I did slip once on the pool steps, which can be a bit slippery when wet — though the hosts clearly warn about this in the welcome video, so it was already flagged. Access with larger vehicles can be a bit tricky, so guests planning to arrive by coach or minibus should double-check in advance. We had to walk a short distance on our wedding day due to the narrow road, but taxis and cars had no problem, and there’s plenty of space to park. Lastly, a neighbour did complain once or twice, which the hosts communicated politely. It wasn’t ideal, but we understand they were just doing their job, and it didn’t take away from the experience.
