When my husband saw this property on Booking.com, his heart was immediately set on it. That doesn't happen a lot with him. We both decided that this is THE place to celebrate our special anniversary and our many years together. The owner, Loïc, was very kind and accommodated our requests.
The property is from the 1920s decorated with unique items but equipped with modern amenities. It was intended to be a refuge from daily life; no TV but with a breathtaking view of the Alps.
The property is quite close to the town centre (supermarkets, boulangeries, restaurants etc.) but far enough so you can enjoy the peace and quiet of natural surroundings.
There are hiking trails all around. Sion is just down the valley, Montreaux and Zermatt are just 1 1/ hours away by car.

Die Lage des Hauses ist super – extrem abgelegen und fast am Ende des Dorfes. Klar hat es Häuser rundherum, aber jede hat ihre Privatsphäre im Garten. Das Haus hat extrem viele Details und man sieht: Hier hat eine Familie sehr viel Energie und Herzblut investiert. Der Garten, die Küche, auch die Schlafzimmer sind außerordentlich schön. Klar, das Haus hat seine Ecken und Kanten. Jemandem mit Problemen, Treppen zu laufen, würde ich dieses Haus nicht empfehlen, da die Treppe zum Oberstock sehr eng ist und es mühsam ist, hoch und runterzukommen. Aber sonst kann ich nur allen das Haus wärmstens empfehlen. Auch die Schlüsselübergabe war unkompliziert und sehr schnell. Zum Preis, den wir bezahlt haben, war dieser Aufenthalt unschlagbar. Wir würden wieder gehen. :) PS: Internet geht praktisch gar nicht da – also guter Ort für eine Internet-Entgiftung. ;)
Ja, es hat gewisse Ameisen im Haus, aber das liegt halt an der Lage und daran, dass Essen im Haus ist. Aber nicht weiter schlimm, zwei-, dreimal eine Ameise sehen ist auch schön. :)

La maison, on dirait que l’on rentre chez des gens qui vous invite...
L’ambiance.
La proximité de plein de belles randonnées...
Bref le bonheur...
Je reviendrai c’est sûr...
Rien si on aime la nature et le calme comme moi...
