Carpenters Cottage near Hadrian's Wall

It had everything we needed with a brilliant conservatory where we spent all our days, whilst not out and about.

Can't think of anything.importantt. If anything, the heat pump did cone on at variious times in the night, doing it's job.

Lovely spacious cottage in a quiet village. We didn't cook as much as we usually do when away, but the kitchen is very well equipped, even has egg cups for dippy eggs. My daughter & her American partner came for 2 of the 4 days. We enjoyed precious family time together, visiting Vindolanda, Hexham Abbey, Hadrians Wall, Corbridge etc, would recommend Piccolo restaurant. We sat in the lovely garden often, on an evening, we brought our own little solo wood burner & heard Song Thrushes, Robins, Blackbirds etc, then we were treated to a wonderful bat display of maybe 3/4 diving around catching insects. The big fire log burner was a veey welcome treat on one chilly night. Lisa left us a personal note alongside some delicious fruity loaf, yes I did copy the recipe she left. We were sad to miss Jake the lovely cat 🐈, maybe next time. We will be back.

Absolutely nothing, not to like.

We had a fantastic stay here, we were greeted with a note from the owners which was very personalised and there was homemade brownies which were gorgeous. The cottage was spotlessly clean, cosy and like home from home, we loved it and we'll definitely be back! Highly recommended 👌

There was absolutely nothing we didnt like, it was like home from home everything was exactly how i would have it.
