This property is well located and about 30 minutes from the KOA airport, depending on traffic. It is close to the main highway, yet still off the beaten path. The security is good and the gate at the entrance is well monitored. We checked in after hours, so we collected the keys at the unit and got our parking pass the next morning. The code worked for the keys and the entry was simple. The unit is a little worn (carpet, sofa, fridge), but it is in overall good shape. The location was amazing with the ocean very close and the back opening to a golf course. The property even has an assigned, covered parking space. The living room is well equipped and the smart TV was nice. The wi-fi worked well and stayed connected. We cooked several meals here and were never lacking for utensils, pans, silverware or dishes. The kitchen was a little dated, but still very well equipped. The fridge even had ice in the door. The dining room was a nice place to relax and had plenty of room for 4. The A/C worked well and there were plenty of fans and ceiling fans to keep the air moving. We only used the master bathroom, but the second bathroom was nice as well. The master having 2 sinks was handy and the shower was nice as well. Plenty of towels and linens are provided and were comfortable and there was plenty of closet space available too. The bed in the master was comfortable as well. I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to the big island!
The unit could use new carpet as it is dirty and stained in spots. The sofa is a little dirty and stained as well. The unit could also use a good cleaning. The top of the fridge was really nasty.
