This place absolutely exceeded our expectations. Its in a stunning setting with amazing views. It was clean and cosy. Everything we needed was provided, including some snacks and milk on arrival. Our 3 children (12, 14 and 16yrs) loved the garden area with football goal, trampoline, badminton net and basketball hoop. We all made good use of the snooker room and swimming pool. The owners were lovely. Amazing value for money and would definitely visit again.
It didn't worry us at all, but the decor is slightly tired/dated (understandable in a building of its age) so may not be to everyone's taste

Loved everything on offer for children. Took my 2 yr old grandson, he loved the pre school play room and play area. Swimming pool, trampoline and football net on offer for older children. Donald (owner) was fascinating to talk to. Arrival hospitality was very good, so grateful for the cake, pint of milk and tea bags, etc. The bar open 7-10pm was very goid too, basic but a good quiet night in after a long journey
The building is old and full of charm. With that comes cobwebs and spiders. Didnt otther me, but would imagine not everyone would like it
