About this cottage rental
This charming holiday cottage, located on the edge of Snowdonia, comfortably accommodates up to eight guests with its five well-appointed bedrooms. The cottage offers a mix of king-size, double, and single bedrooms, including a ground-floor king-size room with an en-suite toilet and shower. The property is pet-friendly, allowing dogs, and includes amenities such as a log burner in the living room, a modern kitchen, and a utility room ideal for dog walkers. Additionally, a travel cot and high chair are available upon request. There are three parking spaces, and guests are advised to use the rear entrance for safety, especially with children or pets.
Nestled in the hamlet of Glasfryn, the cottage is ideally located for exploring the natural beauty and attractions of North Wales. Nearby highlights include a Championship Karting track just a mile away, the scenic Llyn Alwen reservoir (4 miles), and Llyn Brenig (5 miles), with a visitor center and plenty of outdoor activities like boat rentals and cycling. Other notable attractions include the high-altitude Sportsman’s Arms pub (9 miles), Betws y Coed (9 miles), and the iconic Snowdon, which is just a 38-minute drive away. The area is rich with picturesque towns, including Bala, Ffestiniog, and Llangollen, as well as the charming seaside locations of Llandudno and Harlech.
The cottage is equipped with a well-sized kitchen-dining area, featuring modern appliances such as a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, and a gas hob. The kitchen is ideal for preparing meals for the whole family or group. The property also includes a bathroom with a toilet and a separate WC on the first floor, ensuring convenience for all guests.
