Free parking and a warm bed and if you're a DIYer/ worked in a trade bonus points if you can spot all the mistakes that were made during the last refurbishment, I couldn't stop laughing the more I looked.

How modern it was, and was great value for money at £51 a night.
kitchen cupboards do need updating as it does ruin the rest of the place. And the parking was an issue for me as my van doesn’t fit under the building to get to car park.

Property was exceptionally clean apart from the stairs. Convenient location with oarking.
Advertised as 2 bedrooms and a living room but one bedroom doubled as the living room. Very little space to eat a meal together. Shower poorly positioned and no anti slip mat. No instructions for heating operation. Poor communication pre arrival and confusion regarding the entry code.

They were very helful when the payment would not go through and helped to work through a bank transfer which was lovely. The price we paid was on the cheaper end of what portsmouth offered in our searches and we were pretty close to where we wanted to visit that we could walk. It works ok with pre school children. Loved the off street parking. Essentially a decent enough place and comfortable enough that I would recommend with the caveats mentioned below.
I felt that the pictures didnt show the actual state of the bathroom or kitchen condition which could do with some proper fixes from wear.Essentially poor DIY fixes in the bathroom and cupboards coming apart in the kitchen. But everything was functional and worked. The bedroom and lounge was in good knick though. The check in procedure was more complex than I think is neccassary and the list of "we'll fine you if you make a mess and the lists of costs associated"gave us some concern about turning up with young kids and it felt a little hypocritical given the state of the wear. Given the actual state of the kitchen and bathroom, the price becomes a little steep for the quality but it still represented the cheaper end of the spectrum. Was still cheaper than housing a family of 4 in a hotel.
