About this farm stay rental

The Colbert Farm House was built in 1887 by Adam Roland, the Great Grandfather of the current owner, Harold Colbert and has been in the family for four generations. The farm house is located on Coder Road, two miles west of Calvin.

The rustic, secluded eight room farm house is in beautiful Trough Creek Valley. The house Has 4 bedrooms with two Queen size beds and two full size beds. Bedrooms are furnished with Rustic cedar-log furniture. The sun room is equipped with a gas fireplace, and is an ideal spot to watch wildlife. The 150 acre farm borders State Game Lands.

Very old home with a lot of room. It served my family well for the price for the weekend. The house wasn't particularly clean. It is a very lived in family home. I don't think it has been lived in in a long time, but could use a thorough cleaning. There are only ACs in 2 of the upstairs rooms and 1 downstairs room. There are not many outlets upstairs. Some of the electrical stuff is a bit dodgy due to the age. The mattresses arent great. Overall it was a good value.
