About this villa rental
At 500 meters from Lake Maggiore, we offer beautiful two-story villa, sleeps 12 + 1 single room (extra cost) surrounded by a large garden and equipped with swimming pool (12 meters by 5 meters) with solar shower and garden furniture, bathroom / shower in the pool area, barbecue. The pool and 'Habitable from 15 May to 15 September.
Downstairs, with various exits directly on the garden, there is a large living room with a bar corner and a game table; 2 double bedrooms + 1 double or twin bedroom, 1 large double room with lake view each with its own bathroom. Additionally, there is a single room (extra cost).
Upstairs, large dining room, sitting room and lounge with satellite TV that opens onto a large balcony where you can comfortably dine overlooking the lake and mountains. Always overlooking the lake, there is a large double bedroom with its own bathroom. On the back, a spacious double bedroom also with its own bathroom.
The kitchen is habitable, very large and equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, 2 fridges. A laundry area with washing machine and dryer and ironing is available.
In the garden: volleyball/badminton court and ping-pong table; on the veranda: table football.
Wi-Fi and 'active inside and outside the Villa.
Cots for children up to 2 years and high chairs are available on request.
The car and 'indispensable for shopping, touring and short trips, with the possibility' of parking inside the property.
The area where 'located Villa Ortensia and' very quiet, and a short distance and 'can find grocery stores, restaurants, bars and the train station.

This is a classic Italian villa with beautiful grounds and scenic views of the lake and mountains. The garden is beautifully kept and we enjoyed using the pool but sadly couldn’t make the most of the grounds due to the poor weather. Dennis the house keeper was incredible and always on hand to answer any questions we had. We did not have a car so we used the local transport - the bus stop and train station is less than a 5 min walk away. There are many towns and villages to explore close by, Porto valtravaglia, Laveno and Luino to name a few. There was everything you needed in the villa, lots of floats and toys for children and sports equipment for adults and kids alike! The villa is very spacious (there were 14 of us) however the kitchen is on the smaller side. The additional cost for another room wasn’t listed even though we booked for 14 we still had to pay an extra eur 150 for an added room which was disappointing. You also have to pay for utilities at the end of the stay - so make sure you read the small print before you book. (We were aware) Despite this, Marella the house host was always very responsive and I’d recommend this villa for a family or large group stay. Very peaceful and serene with very friendly locals!

The villa and its facilities far exceeded expectations, it is so much more beautiful in person and the setting is idyllic. The walk back up the hill from the small marina area is not too difficult but well worth it for the views of the lake and the waterside restaurants.

The pictures don't do it justice. This is a fully equipped large Villa with fantastic views of the lake. We had 10 adults and there was plenty of room for all of us. We each had our own ensuite bath. The Villa is walking distance to some great restaurants and plenty of activities. The large pool was a big plus...I swam every day. I highly recommend this property

It's a dream house! Large, spacious, authentically furnished. All amenities available, everything very clean and well maintained. The property is huge with a perfectly maintained garden, large, clean pool, volleyball court, lemon trees, lots of loungers, chairs and tables. The equipment was more than complete. We have never had a house that was better equipped. The contact with the agency, the owner and the caretaker (lives next door) was perfect, we would love to come back!
