Appartement we hebben met 6 personen genoten van een 10 persoonsappartement. Ideaal, kinderen allemaal eigen slaapkamer en badkamer. En meer dan genoeg borden en bestek ed. Banken zijn redelijk comfortabel. Tv is goed, open haard is fijn. Voor de koffie en thee waren er alleen hele kleine kopjes, dus we hebben de soepkommen maar gebruikt.
Appartementencomplex we hadden een appartement aan de voorkant, daardoor mooi uitzicht. Als je een appartement aan de achterkant hebt is dat een stuk minder. Je kan niet echt buiten zitten, geen tuin, balkonnetjes heel klein. Wel een bankje voor het complex. Het zwembad is fijn, maar is in z'n geheel 160 cm diep. Niet handig met kleine kinderen. Het is te klein voor baantjes trekken en echt spelen gaat ook niet. Sauna ziet er netjes uit, maar geen gebruik van gemaakt. Lift en parkeergarage zijn praktisch. Personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
Omgeving bergen zijn prachtig, uitzicht is overweldigend mooi. De natuur is echt geweldig. In het dorpje staan wel appartementengebouwen leeg, het lijkt of ze nooit helemaal zijn afgemaakt. Er was een kleine supermarkt open, met goed assortiment. In La Rosiere werd een en ander georganiseerd, waaronder vuurwerk. Leuk om naar te kijken. In Bourg-St-Maurice (30 min naar beneden met de auto) is een prachtig zwembad (waar geen zwemboxer gedragen mag worden!). Daar zijn ook grote supermarkten waaronder een Lidl. Een eindje na Bourg-St-Maurice is een zwemmeertje met strandje (daar mag wel een zwemboxer gedragen worden). Waterschoenen geen overbodig luxe, er liggen veel steentjes op de bodem (en glibberige modder). Ook leuk voor met kleine kinderen. Bezoek aan Glacier de la Grande Motte (de berg aan de overkant) is een absolute aanrader. La Thuile, Italie is vlakbij en ook een bezoek meer dan waard. Prachtige natuur en wandelmogelijkheden.
