Came to Elizabethton to move my parents into a nursing home. During this very stressful week, the cabin was an oasis of calm for my sister and I.

Very well built and new looking. Surrounding area is camp ground, industrial business or dog kennel.
Difficult to find initially, cannot be seen from the road behind a large industrial business and fenced lot. A sign or marker on the road would help.
The cottage was not stocked, you will need to bring all toiletries, paper towels, condiments. The bath items included( towels) were very minimal, and would last two adults overnight and maybe one more day. Bring all your soaps, shampoos and other bath items you may need.
The ductless air conditioning system may be difficult for persons not familiar with their operations. There were no manual or pamphlet to help explain the remote control for the air conditioner.
The Wi-Fi is weak and will cause buffering on the ROKU TV and it’s streaming services. Multiple resets will be required.
Also remember to bring extra trash bags or extra storage bags if needed, none were provided.
Bring any basic food items required, items such as sugar, salt and pepper etc…
Extra rolls of toilet paper and paper towels, if staying for more than two days.
The lighting at night is poor in the parking areas or road/ driveway to the cottage.
This is more a fishing camp than a weekend retreat or romantic getaway location.
Privacy on your porch is very limited, it can be viewed from the other cabins located next door on both sides. The passing traffic on the river and camping grounds across the river directly opposite the front porch are in view.
