About this house rental
Nestled within a century-old tree-filled estate, Maison de Célestin welcomes you for a timeless escape. This former gardener's cottage, fully renovated with a cosy country feel, comfortably sleeps up to 9 guests—perfect for family gatherings or friends' getaways.
Here, time slows down. Sunlight floods the kitchen through floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking your private hornbeam-hedged garden. Squirrels play in the ancient trees while the wood-burning stove crackles on winter evenings.
What awaits you:
Three spacious bedrooms, a bathroom with bathtub and a second with walk-in Italian shower, a welcoming living room and a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, dual-zone wine cooler, Tassimo coffee maker…). Outside: your private garden with Weber barbecue, access to the parkland grounds and, from mid-May to mid-September, a heated saltwater pool (12 x 4 m).
A playground for all ages:
Swing set, badminton, pétanque, daily visits to the estate's chickens… Children find their own little paradise here.

Just 8 km from Bourges and its UNESCO-listed cathedral, explore the renowned vineyards of Sancerre, Menetou-Salon and Quincy. The first Loire Valley châteaux (Ainay-le-Vieil, Chambord, Chenonceau) are an easy day trip away. Nature lovers will enjoy rambling along country lanes, picking organic fruit at nearby farms, or simply lounging by the pool.

Super amazing house, laetitia and pierre-jean are so welcoming and leave you to it.
Great gardens, Swimming pool etc... we had the best time deconnecting from our every day lives.
We didnt need much else but surrounding area isn't much to do for teens apart if you like churches and castles 😃

We had the pleasure of staying at Laetitia's house and were so impressed with her rental. It is a very spacious home with an incredible living room and kitchen. Everything was clean and well laid out. The grounds are beautiful. While it was too cool for swimming, I can imagine how lovely it would be to spend time by the pool.
Plus, the house is secluded but has easy access to Bourges and several small towns near by. There is a large grocery story within minutes. I am a walker and was able to do my morning walk by walking down the road in front of the house.
If you have the opportunity to visit the Loire and want to visit chateaus near Bourges, this house is a wonderful choice. If you want a place to unwind, this house is a great place to go.
