Set within 5 acres of shared grounds and accommodating up to seven guests, The Goyle is the ideal lodge for family get-togethers, with the added luxury of a hot tub (Jan-Sept) available.. Ground Floor:

Both properties are extremely well appointed and spacious both inside and out, each boasting large decked terraces, with gates for keeping both pets and children from roaming. The perfect location for families or friends looking for a peaceful retreat for a holiday or celebrating a special occasion, and the perfect spot for those looking to explore the wider surrounding area. A well established hedge provides complete privacy between the two lodges, but a small access path means that the two can be hired together for large groups.
Close by, the Grand Western Canal and Country Park, offers boat trips and great walking and cycling, Knighthayes National Trust, 3 miles, Killerton and Powderham Castle. Exmoor’s seaside resorts, Dartmoor, the city of Exeter, south coast towns and north coast surfing beaches are easily accessible. Beauty treatments, local veg and meat box and home cooking can all be arranged (at extra charge). Shop/Post Office 2 miles, pub 1 mile.
This is a quiet area so please be considerate to neighbours whilst playing music.
There is a £100 security deposit payable on arrival in cash and will be refunded by bank transfer once the property has been inspected.

We had a great time there. I would certainly go back.It was good sized bungalow type place that was very homely. A good kitchen for cooking a roast with a good amount of utensils. Lovely fireplace with comfy sofas.Very comfortable beds in three bedrooms. The jacuzzi is a great feature and was great.The area is lovely for a good walk across farm lands with a nice small river running thru.Lots of good local farmhouse foods nearby too.We loved it there and would go back.

Excellent lodge to stay in. It is in the middle of nowhere though so be prepared to drive if you want pub / shop. But you get the pro’s of all the countryside around you - for miles to see! Would go back in a heartbeat!

Heather is a most welcoming hostess, the lodge is clean and tidy on arrival and nothing is to much trouble.
The location is great and peaceful, sitting in a hot tub looking out over British countryside

Ideal if you are after quiet away from it all break but not to far away from local pubs/restaurants. Coastal resorts about an hour drive away a lot of local villages at the end of small country lanes that are worth visiting
