About this villa rental
Magnificent Provençal farmhouse 300m2 ideally located on the old Via Domitia, 5 minutes walk from the center of Saint Remy de Provence with a superb view of the Alpilles mountains.
Large landscaped garden of 3000m2 with heated swimming pool of 12m, field of olive trees, pétanque court and swing. The pool house is equipped with a toilet, an outside shower, a fridge and a treadmill
Inside, the farmhouse has been completely and tastefully renovated and offers very good amenities combining modern comfort with quality traditional materials. All rooms are air-conditioned, and the bathrooms refurbished, high speed WiFi is available everywhere.
On the ground floor :
Large open and bright reception area: living room, dining room, open kitchen opening onto a large terrace. A large scullery completes the kitchen with washing machine and dryer but also 2nd fridge, 2nd cooking unit and 2nd dishwasher as well as a separate washroom.
Winter lounge in the veranda, a reading and games room with table foosball.
Large master suite with an office hosting a convertible sofa, a large bedroom (2mx2m bed) and a bathroom with bathtub, superb Italian shower, and separate toilet.
Upstairs :
3 Bedrooms with 360-degree views of the Alpilles. A Suite has its own shower room and 2 bedrooms share a bathroom with a separate toilet.
An independent apartment with its own entrance can be used separately or connected to the house. This apartment includes a bedroom, a shower room and toilet, a living room with sofa bed, a kitchenette and a terrace offering a superb view of the Alpilles.

In a few minutes walk: Saint Remy center, the Antique site of Glanum, the Vincent Van Gogh trail and Saint Paul de Mausole, numerous walks in the Alpilles and at Lake Peirou.
In less than an hour by bike and a few minutes by car: Les Baux de Provence, Eygalières, Maussane, Fontvieille and Montmajour Abbey.
By car in less than an hour: Avignon the City of Popes (20 minutes), Arles (30 minutes) and the Camargue natural park (Saintes Maries de la Mer, Aigues-Mortes, Ornithological Park), Aix en Provence, Gordes and the Luberon.

Location was perfect. Just close enough to town for nice walks to dinner, but far enough away to be very quiet. It was as pictured and very clean with plenty of room. Communication with the hosts was always clear and prompt. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and there were plenty of appliances to make the stay easy.

My family and I stayed here for 2 weeks in September. The villa is lovely . It has beautiful large grounds with a big heated swimming pool. The grounds are well maintained . The location of the villa is the biggest positive as you can walk into the town in 10 minutes, a very well equipped supermarket is 7 mins away walking and you can also walk from the villa into the nationalPark where there is spectacular scenery and walks. The villa was very clean with good quality fittings , mattresses ( quite hard but memory foam so liked by most ) and good linens . The ONLY downside is that there is only one toilet upstairs serving 3 double bedrooms . The apartment and the master suite ( which is superb) have their own toilet . Extremely well equipped kitchen and utility with 2 large American style fridge freezers. Sophie from VRBO was great at communicating with me , as was the house manager Carine. Would stay there again .

Stunning garden with a lovely pool and a great view on the Alpilles . Very nice to be able to walk to the center or watch the show to the arena. Spacious house and well equipped. A gem.

The property was amazing. Everything you need for a large family or group gathering. Kitchen well stocked with equipment- this is saying a lot from two chefs. Spent days shopping at local markets, cooking and playing Petanque at the house. Host Sophie-provided a great list of suggestions from restaurants to markets. Carine the house manager was incredible a text away with anything you might need.
