Unique Spanish home in well established and safe, historic Oceanside neighborhood- Alta Loma.
If you are looking for a spacious, quiet and safe place that is close to the shopping, beach and freeway this is place for you. You will be amazed how peaceful it is on the top of the hill with lots of privacy and gentle breeze from the ocean.
This house is perfect home for you when you are in transition and need comfortable place to live for a short term. Everything is ready for you to feel at home.
Exceptional, spacious and very quite!
* It has 2 bedroom and 2 baths. (shower and bathtub)
Large master bedroom has queen size bed and big closet.
Second bedroom has 2 twin beds.
* A chef's dream kitchen has oversized stove, 2 ovens, dishwasher and oversized fridge.
* Outdoor deck has a sitting area with great valley views.
* Balcony overlooking a hacienda styled courtyard.
* The house is over 2175 sq feet with big living room and additional coffee room.
We are renting the whole house that is fenced all around. It has big lot about 0.5 acres. There is only one close neighbor.
The house is fully furnished with 50 inch smart TV and the Wi-Fi Internet. There is only antenna TV available. Smart TV will let you login to your Netflix, Amazon,... account.
Utility room is with washer and dryer.
Central heating.
3 rooms are sunken 2 steps which makes it unsuitable for somebody with a walker or having problems with using any steps.
The home has ocean breeze and canyon views. From the small room at the second floor you can see a peek of the ocean.
Short walk to popular Buddy Todd park and 2.5 miles to the beach, harbor and shopping. It is about 1 mile from the freeway.
Big garage with 2 parking spots in front of it.
The house is available for rent for over 30 days. We do no offer long term rental that would be over 6 months.

We stayed for 70 days, mid Jan 2025 to end of March. Snowbirding, or skipping our cold Regina winter. We travelled with our dog "Kaos", so a fenced yard was very important to us, as he loves being outside, chasing fence lizzards or playing frisby, etc. Buddy Todd park is an excellent park a couple blocks away. Many more parks and dogs beaches within a short drive. We even drove out to Borrego Springs, Del Mar, and Coronado Dog Beache. Tons of places to explore with a dog.The house and yard were quite large, with a big primary bedroom, TV room and kitchen. It was perfect (if not big) for a couple with a dog, not sure it would be great for multiple couples, as the next bedroom is a fair bit smaller than the master, but doable. The best part of this location for us was the rear patio, where you have greats view across the valley. You can see things from a golf course, to sky divers, to lots of fruit trees. I will see if I can add a picture.Anyway, if you're looking for a stand alone home, with a fenced yard, this is a great place. Also the garage was an added bonus, and fit my 1500 truck nicely. Weather was decent, not really hot temps or shorts weather for me, but a decent 15 to 20C (60 to 68F) most days, that was fine when the sun was out. We usually needing a golf jacket and/or heavy sweat shirt for after dinner dog walks. This was great compared to the nasty winter we had at home this year. To wrap up, I would definately recommend this place for a warm winter VRBO.

Quiet friendly neighborhood, a block from Buddy Todd park. Enjoyed watching sunrise from back deck for 3 month stay. Spacious house, good appliances and well stocked kitchen. Separate garage was a bonus, as were the lime and lemon trees. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Good location and good communication. The owner was very helpful when we needed to extend our stay for a week. Unfortunately we were there during a heat wave and there was no a/c so it was uncomfortable but other than that it was adequate.
