Stayed here for a week in late August. Gite was within beautiful grounds of the chateau with lots of land. We have a one year old who loved to run around outside and visit the horses. Inside is very well equipped with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher etc. Rest of Gite is basic but still comfortable. Great fireplace for colder days which turns to face sofa or dining table.
The Gite was in a perfect location. Chambly is a lovely little town but a few miles away is Chantilly with it's stunning chateau and Isle of Adam with lots of lovely restaurants, a river flowing through the town and a beach and outdoor swimming pool. There are a couple of lakes near by with leisure activities etc which are lovely.
Also Paris only 30 mins by train. We went twice as well as Euro Disney although Parc Asterix is closer.
Overall had a lovely stay and Frank is always on hand to help with any problems with Gite!
