About this cottage rental
You will find everything you need in this well thought out cottage for a wonderful beach vacation! This historic beach bungalow was built in 1926. It is on the historic register designated as a 'key' contributor. The cottage was completely remodeled and updated in 2011. Located two short blocks to Main Beach and downtown, you will find Laguna's favorite restaurants and shops within a two minute walk. Our cottage has two bedrooms: the master bedroom has a king bed with french doors that open onto a peek-a-boo ocean view deck and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds and an en-suite bathroom with a tub.
The fully-stocked, eat-in kitchen has been upgraded with all new appliances (refrigerator with ice maker and water dispenser, gas stove, microwave, and dishwasher) as well as a built in water filter for fresh drinking water. The LG full sized washer and dryer are brand new and our located in an attached laundry room.
You will find all the comforts of home in our spotless cottage, including a 42'' flat panel TV with advanced programming cable and WIFI internet. All linens and utilities are provided, and weekly maid service can be arranged for an additional fee.
You will have everything you need to enjoy the perfect Laguna Beach vacation. There is a small one car attached garage for your use, however with the close proximity to town and the beach, you will have no need for a car!

If you want an incredible, authentic Laguna cottage to enjoy, this is your place. My wife and I spent the month of February here and can tell you, it is the perfect place to stay. First of all the location is incredible. We walked everywhere. Really only needed our car to venture away from Laguna. The walk to the beach is less than 6 minutes.
The same amount of time to walk downtown Laguna Beach. Location, location, location! The layout of our cottage is perfect if you have guests stay or visit you. One end is the Master Bedroom with lovely bathroom and large glass shower. The other bedroom is on the other side of the home, with its own beautiful bathroom. It includes a full-size tub and shower. In between is the fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and very nice size family room. Nice large size flat-screen.
I hate to give this cottage such an incredible review, because it will just make it that more difficult to rent it next time. That is why we have already decided to rent it again for February 2019!
I can't say enough about Alison and her family. They were the best!
Clean, quality, fully stocked with everything in terrific working condition. We travel all over the world and can honestly say, we loved our experience here.

The green house is an outstanding rental with a great location. My wife and I have stayed in it in winter for the past six years and plan to do so again in 2019. It is a perfect retreat from Chicago's winters. The house is located on the edge of downtown, putting the beach, shops, galleries, coffee shops, and restaurants within easy walking distance. The accommodations are terrific. The house is sunny, clean and well-maintained. It is a comfortable place to visit, and Alison is a friendly and responsive hostess. As I said, we've stayed in the house for six straight years and would not consider another place in Laguna.

We have rented both of Alison's cottages the last few summers and have had a great experience every time! She is super easy to work with and both of her cottages are really cute! I would highly recommend her rental properties!

Looking from the outside, you would not imagine how spacious this cottage really is! I stayed at the green cottage for about 6 weeks and it only took a day or two for it to feel like a home. The personal touches that Alison has put into the cottages are remarkable. Everyday for the first week, there was something new that I hadn't noticed the day before. Be it a picture on the wall, or the light on the ceiling in the second bedroom, that looked like shark teeth. I can not say enough about what a wonderful host Alison is. Anytime I called her, she would get back to me right away, even while on her vacation. She felt more like a friend, than just someone you were renting from. As I said you would never imagine the space inside. Particularly the main bedroom. The pictures do not do it justice. The high cathedral ceiling, to the patio doors out to the back deck, made it that more awesome! I have always wanted to stay in Laguna Beach and that is exactly what it is. Having access to the beach anytime of the day, not having to drive or park , was priceless! I would highly recommend a stay here and will be back again!
