About this house rental
Between sea and countryside, in a pretty protected village in the heart of the Pays d'Auge, this 18th century manor, very comfortable and cozy, can accommodate up to 12 people.
It's made of :
Ground floor: entrance, living room with fireplace, dining room with large fireplace and 3 high chairs for children, kitchen, office and WC.
Floors:
- 4 double bed rooms with private bathroom and WC (one with shower)
- 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds (4 beds) with bathroom and WC (baby cot on request)
- 1 linen room (washing machine, dryer, sink for soaking, ironing board and iron),
- 1 games room.
The recently renovated kitchen is very well equipped: induction hob, fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, freezer, kettle, coffee maker, toaster and, of course, all the necessary dishes and utensils etc ...
The house is surrounded by a very large private garden at the end of which is the parking lot (4 cars). In this garden is a wooden portico for children with swings, ladder, knot rope and slide. At the back, a flowery garden furniture with large table, chairs, deckchairs and deckchairs and a barbecue.
The price indicated does not include the tourist tax which is 0.50 € / adult / night and the rental of sheets and towels: 12 € per person

The owner of the house is very welcoming. The property was beautifully manicured. The house felt like home for a week. It was very charming and cozy. Great kitchen to cook in. Our family spent many hours in the courtyard outside the kitchen. It is a perfect place for a family to enjoy the beauty of The French countryside.

My family and I had a lovely stay at the property. The house is beautiful with lots of history. Everything was great but it we would have appreciated the downstairs toilet to be functional with a full house of people. Also, a suggestion would be to have a mirror at the end of the driveway to help to see oncoming cars when exiting the property onto the road.

Bas Mesnil is a beautiful property near Pont L'Eveque a lovely old Norman town. Rosenn was an excellent host, very good communication throughout and was there to welcome us at arranged time. Nothing was too much trouble and she solved a problem we had immediately. Manor house was very spacious and had everything we needed and more. Located in a peaceful and tranquil setting yet close by to the coast, lovely villages and chateaux. Thank you Rosenn for letting us enjoy your lovely home, we would highly recommend it and would visit again in the future

We had a wonderful stay in Normandie at this home, beautiful place and excellent location.
We had to check-in a little bit later than expected due to a storm the night before but, even if that was the case, the house was in perfect condition.
The house has the authentic french charm, I wouldn’t go anywhere else if I would go to vacation in Normandie again.
The location is perfect to go and visit Trouville-sur-Mer, Deauville., Honfleur the WE2 sites and several other historical sites.
The check out time is 10:00 am which is a little bit too early to make sure you leave such a big house clean and tidy, it took us an additional 20 minutes to tidy up so my recommendation is to tidy up the night before so that you can check out by 10:00 AM sharp.
