About this cottage rental
This spacious and welcoming cottage offers a perfect blend of comfort and natural beauty, accommodating up to 8 guests across four bedrooms. The ground floor features a twin room with an en-suite shower and a games room with a table tennis table. The first floor boasts a large living/dining room with stunning views of Grasmere Lake, a cosy wood burner, and a 40" Smart TV. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a breakfast bar, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher. The cottage is pet-friendly, welcoming up to four dogs, with the first two staying free of charge. A private parking area for up to 4 cars and exclusive access to the lake for water activities further enhance its appeal.
Located just a short stroll from the charming village of Grasmere, the cottage offers easy access to a range of excellent restaurants, tea rooms, and pubs. Nature lovers will appreciate the abundance of nearby walking trails, including the beautiful Grasmere and Rydal Water circuit. The surrounding area is home to local wildlife, such as red deer and red squirrels, ensuring guests can enjoy a serene, nature-filled experience. The location also provides a peaceful and scenic retreat, perfect for relaxation and exploration.
The property is equipped with all essential amenities to ensure a comfortable stay, including underfloor oil central heating, Wi-Fi, and an initial supply of logs for the wood burner. The cottage also includes a family bathroom with a bath and shower over it, plus a separate shower room.
