Enjoy a relaxing stay in the heart of the Black Forest. Our charming, renovated two-story holiday home Schmuckstück is located in the historic old town of Schiltach, one of the most beautiful timber-framed towns in the region and recognized as one of the world’s top tourism villages since 2025.
The house welcomes up to four guests plus an infant and is perfect for couples, families, or friends. A high chair and travel cot are available for little ones. The two lovingly furnished bedrooms are accessed via a steeper staircase and offer a double bed and two single beds in an open area. The stylish living room, with views of the old town, flows into the dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. A spacious, light-filled bathroom adds extra comfort. Outside the vaulted cellar, a bistro table and chairs invite you to relax.
Free Wi-Fi, TV with Chromecast, bed linen, and towels are provided. Free parking is available about 350 m away; a short-term loading zone is available on the street. Pets are not allowed.
Discover the charm of winding alleys, historic houses, and the romantic setting by the Kinzig River. Restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and supermarkets are just a few steps away. Numerous hiking and cycling trails start right outside the door. The public outdoor pool is about 2 km away. With the guest card, you can use buses and trains throughout the Black Forest free of charge.

Pros: Great accomodation!! Everything was present. Very clean house. Loved it!
Nice to be in the middle of the old center of the town.
but overall: great holliday.
Cons: Car parking is a problem if you like to have the car nearby. We parked at the parking by the river. No problem if you don't mind a small walk to the car, just like us.
