The building surrounds an idyllic property of about 2000 sqm with numerous trees, some of which are up to 240 years old. The German National Theatre and the Goethe and Schiller Monument are only about 200 metres away. Also in the immediate vicinity, numerous restaurants, cafés and bars in Weimar's old town invite you to dine and enjoy. The nearby Park an der Ilm with its large lush green meadows is perfect for walking, relaxing and lingering or for a morning jog. In addition to its numerous museums and historical and cultural sights, Weimar also offers great excursion destinations for the whole family. For hiking and cycling enthusiasts, Weimar is also a great starting point for day trips.
