Spend your vacation or a long weekend in my cozy holiday home in the Willingen Upland holiday region.
The house is idyllically situated in a quiet forest location on a plot of approx. 2000 sqm. It is the ideal place for excessive leisure time, but also the starting point for excursions, hiking and mountain bike tours in the beautiful landscape of the Sauerland.
In addition, city tours to Marburg (90km, 1.5 hours) or Kassel (79km, 1.1 / 4 hours) are also recommended.
Otherwise, enjoy the wonderfully unobstructed view from the windows bwz. from the terrace / balcony and treat yourself to a sauna every now and then, which is an unforgettable experience, especially on snowy winter days.
The house is equipped for a maximum of 4 people and offers on 90 square meters:
1 living room, 1 kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, central heating, free WiFi.
The house is a non-smoking house. Pets are not allowed. Parking is in front of the house.
Suitable for:
Long term renters welcome. Non smoking home. Pets are not allowed.

Kitchen and bathroom may look a bit outdated, but everything works properly and is clean. Next time we plan a visit to Sauerland we would certainly first check whether this property is available!

We (a family of four) had a lovely time at the 'mal abschalten' house. It lies at the end of the road in a small valley surrounded by woods and fields, offering nice views from the terrace and balcony. The location is perfect for outdoor activities: there are many foot and bike paths to be explored right from the house, and the ski slopes of Willingen are just 10 minutes by car.
The house is warm and comfortable, and we felt immediatly at home. The sauna works very well and offers great relaxation after a day outdoors. Mr Blomann, the owner, was quie responsive and made us feel welcome. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful retreat, nestled among the trees on a steep hillside with glorious views over the green valley with its meandering willow-lined stream and the hills of sauerland disappearing beyond. Peaceful, private and secluded; possesses a rustic charm that harmonizes with the natural surroundings; but also a wonderful living room kitted out for music and cinema lovers! An idyllic retreat but with close proximity to some excellent German pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended for families or couples wanting to "get away" to recharge.
