Smoky Mountain Song Cottage is a 3-story treehouse-style cottage offering the perfect balance of privacy and convenience at an amazing value! Perched at the top of a half-mile gravel driveway, this secluded retreat provides stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. Important note: Due to the steep driveway, AWD, FWD, or 4WD vehicles are highly recommended. Rear-wheel drive cars or minivans are not suitable for access. No refunds if you do not bring a vehicle that can access the property. It's unrivaled privacy and peace are best enjoyed by guests that don't mind mountain road driving.

Pet policy: Have your pet's vaccinations up to date and treat for fleas. Be aware that Tennessee has a lot of ticks, so check yourselves and your pets after going outside. We ask that you crate your pet when you leave it alone in the cabin and bring a blanket to put down on the furniture if your pet sits on it, though we prefer you bring the pet's own bed for it to rest on. Please clean up excessive pet hair if your pet is shedding. All pets must be leashed at all times while outside. Guest is responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse. Pet must not cause damage to premises or furnishings. If damages are caused, the cost of the damage will be requested to be reimbursed by the guest. Guest should prevent pets from producing excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors. Homeowner assumes no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to pets or humans while on the premises. The Guest shall be solely responsible for the pet while on the property.

The cabin was nice, it had plenty of beds/rooms/bathrooms for our large family of six. It was nice to have a kitchen table that fit us all to enjoy meals together. The cleanliness of the interior was a bit lacking when we got there. The fan blades all had quite a bit of dust on them, the air return was covered in dust and dirt. The counters had spilled coffee on them. We found little candies under the toaster over, in the cracks on the floor, under the couch and rug in the front room (our dog helped us find those, lol) It wasn't terrible but not how I wanted to spend the first couple hours there, to be cleaning.The host was great when communicating, they got a couple of major items taken care of the next day, such as fixing a missing outdoor light that was just bare wires and a similar light fixture missing in the basement above the bunk bed. Also, one of the front porch Adirondack chairs is missing and replaced with a camp. Just a note to those that might be wanting to sit on the porch and drink coffee and read in the morning. The driveway in was CRAZY!! You better have 4wheel drive or else you are not getting to the cabin. .5 mile gravel drive straight up and winding. I liked it, my wife, not so much... haha.All in all, the place worked for our family, just a couple inconveniences.Thanks for letting us stay.

When the description of the cabin mentions a hill and needing 4WD, that is an understatement. The hill is unpaved gravel, long, and quite steep. 4WD, some speed, good manuevering, and hope are needed to reach the top of the drive way to the cabin. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay. Beautiful cabin, scenery, and the hot tub was phenomenal.

My family and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. The cabin is spacious, modern, and on a beautiful large lot near Cosby. It includes amenities like a bonfire pit, hot tub, game room for the kids, lawn games and a grill. Internet was perfect. Also small touches like a welcome basket for our dog and free tickets to local attractions were appreciated. The only downside I can think of is the drive to Pigeon Forge was a little long, but we wanted to be away from the more crowded areas of this tourist destination. My kids loved this place and we’re already planning to come back.

The house was decent, spa chemicals were not as they should be (we brought some test strips from our hot tub and the chlorine was barely detectable), the driveway was only accessible by all wheel drive/4-wheel drive. “Only 30 miles” from almost everything, equals 50 min if not more.
