About this cottage rental
Welcome to the historic Homestead at the Dripping Springs. This house is one of three available lodgings each of the three dwellings are unique to their time period, style and setting. Clara's House and Butler Cabin are all part of the Homestead at the Dripping Springs and can be reserved at the same time to sleep a total of 8 people.
They are centrally located in the Historic Mercer Street District of Dripping Springs, close to shops, wedding venues, wine trails, parks and beautiful country roads.
The newest addition to the Homestead is Willie Mae's Cottage. It is a rock and board/batten cottage with a tiled walk-in shower, large bathroom, kitchenette and breakfast nook that looks out on the large oak tree and swing. The stone used to complete the cottage was furnished from the original smokehouse on the historic property. This romantic cottage is furnished with period antiques and re-purposed wood from the community. Large side porch with rockers that overlook historic corral and ancient oak tree.
Includes free continental breakfast, flat-screen TV, WIFI, queen-sized bed, hairdryer, and a snack basket full of goodies.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was very clean, quiet, and cozy. Bed was comfortable but a little on the soft side. Selection of snacks and drinks provided by the host was a nice touch and greatly appreciated.

Instructions for tv use were obscure and did not lend to easy access.Queen bed was extremely squeaky/noisy when changing sleeping positions Food/drinks were well supplied
