Our holiday apartments on Römerstrasse are located in the heart of the vibrant district of Weststadt and have good public transport links to all of the city’s main sights and venues. You’ll find a great selection of restaurants and coffee shops in the direct vicinity. All shops catering for your daily requirements (such as organic supermarket, fruit and vegetable store, butcher’s and bakery) are within easy walking distance.

It was a very comfortable apartment with everything one might need for a short stay. I especially liked that coffee was provided with a great espresso machine.

Thea’s apartment on the third floor is in a convenient location, equipped with everything one could need for a short stay. Check in was easy and communication with Thea was great. If in Heiligenberg I would recommend to anyone to stay here. An added bonus for us, was the washing machine.
We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

The communication with the property manager to get the keys was fast and without complications. The apartment is clean, modern, and has great light. Shops and restaurants in close walking distance, Hauptstraße is a 20 minute walk or less. A helpful welcome packet was included & there were flowers & wine waiting when we arrived. The apartment is on the top floor and very hot (granted, it’s hot everywhere this summer season). A fan would help keep the inside temperature cooler and possibly abate some street noise. The S Bahn is very close but contributes to noise as well the restaurant below. Definitely recommend this rental to those visiting Heidelberg. Thankful we found Zweite Heimat!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay at this property. It was well outfitted and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything necessary to prepare four dinners (except the food, of course) and there were other special touches left by the property managers which you will need to rent the property to discover what they are. The sites are close enough, if you do not mind walking. The butcher, baker, and markets are just around the corner, as well as, a terrific Italian restaurant. Our only surprise, was that it was a walk up. So be prepared for four flights of stairs and some good exercise!
