Welcome to the Birdsong Cottage, a beautifully designed creek-side family home located just minutes from Lake Junaluska and downtown Waynesville.
Set in a peaceful neighborhood, this homes draws on natural beauty, simplicity, and high-end amenities to create the ideal space for families and groups to relax, reconnect, and explore. The property features a gourmet chef's kitchen, fire pit, cozy back porch, al fresco dining, a play slide, a huge fenced in yard, and easy nature access.
The Space:
There are many beautiful spaces to relax in at the Birdsong Cottage - play board games or watch a movie in the living room, enjoy an evening drink overlooking the private yard, or make s'mores over the fire pit by the beautiful creek. Use the gas grill to make dinner and enjoy al fresco dining on the back porch. Take in the birdsong with your morning cup of coffee.
The master bedroom features a premium King bed, large flat screen smart TV, and an ensuite master bathroom with dual sinks. All rooms have been equipped with darkening shades and curtains for sleeping in if you prefer.
The second bedroom has a comfy Queen bed and shares a detached bathroom with the third bedroom.
The third bedroom has two Twin beds, perfect for larger groups. One extra fun feature of this house is the slide off the back porch, which enters the fenced in back yard!
Birdsong Cottage is nestled into a serene setting, perfectly located next to dozens of top local attractions and destinations (e.g. Lake Junaluska, Waynesville, Asheville, the Great Smoky Mountains, and many top eateries and shops)

• Overlooks the golf course and framed by creeks and trees. We highly recommend the stunning walk around the lake that you can access from your yard!
• Take out kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards available for rent and swim in the pool lakeside
• Enjoy a bike ride on the bike path that connects right at the main road
• Downtown Waynesville and all its cute shops and restaurants are 10 minutes away
• The bustling town of Asheville is less than 30 minutes away while Cherokee Resort & Casino is 35 minutes away

Only dogs are permitted at this property. A maximum of two dogs are allowed, each under 50 lbs. No other animals or pets of any kind are permitted. Dogs must be leashed outdoors at all times and are not allowed on furniture or beds. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and free of fleas and ticks. Failure to follow this policy may result in additional cleaning fees or removal from the property.
If you bring your dog with you, food and water bowls are provided, just remember to bring your doggie bags for the back yard!

The house was in a nice neighborhood and convenient to shopping if you need anything during your stay. The property was clean, the kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to prepare meals (pots and pans, baking dishes, some spices and even a hand mixer), and coffee was available for the Keurig. The dogs enjoyed the fenced in back yard as did we; the feeders attract a lot of birds and it was fun watching the visitors while having coffee in the morning. We enjoyed our time at Birdsong Cottage and would recommend it if you're looking for a place to stay in the area.

Our family trip here was excellent, will definitely return next time we're in the area. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, comfortable beds and living room, and plenty of space for our dog to roam in the backyard.

This is an amazing new home with everything you could possibly need. They provide all of the extras, which turns the rental into a home. The front porch is lovely in the morning with the sun hitting it and the back porch is where we relaxed most days when we were home. We ate yummy meals, took many naps, read books and did a jigsaw puzzle on the back porch. All the bird feeders in the back were a plus as we saw many birds and we even saw our first chipmunk eating the bird seed on the ground The location was ideal to all we wanted to experience - pickleball and walking around Lake Junaluska and close enough to Waynesville for shopping and dining. We also did some hiking off the Blue Ridge Parkway which was just 30 minutes away. Our beagle enjoyed lying in the sun in the backyard and the owners had everything our little dog could have needed - even a dog stick library - so cute!

Absolutely love this house! Great location, easy drive to Waynesville, Asheville, Maggie Valley and Cherokee. Loved sitting on the back porch and watching/listening to the birds. Will definitely stay again!
