Holiday Home in Castellane – Gorges du Verdon
In the heart of the Verdon Regional Natural Park, in Castellane, you will find our charming holiday home, offered exclusively for your private use.
It features three comfortable bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom (shower and WC), providing full privacy and comfort for all guests.
Enjoy a spacious and cozy living room with a wood stove, smart TV, and a sofa bed – perfect for relaxing moments.
The bright dining area, located in a large veranda, opens directly onto the terrace with a barbecue and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
From both the veranda and the kitchen, you can enjoy stunning views of the mountains and the garden.
The fully equipped kitchen (electric and gas hob, dishwasher, etc.) provides everything you need to easily prepare meals for family and friends. There is a large covered terace with a rustic outdoor barbecue as well as a boules court and the nearest supermarket is only a few minutes’ walk away.
A garage is also available, offering space for one car or several motorbikes.
Outside, you will find a fully enclosed garden with fruit trees and sun loungers – ideal for relaxing in peace and privacy.
The house is ideally located, only about a 10-minute walk from the centre of Castellane.
The region offers an exceptional natural setting: the Gorges du Verdon, turquoise lakes, mountains, and traditional villages of Haute-Provence.
It is a true paradise for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, with a perfect base for a wide range of activities.

Well equipped, friendly welcome online and in person. No issues with the property. Would recommend rafting available on Tuesdays and Fridays. Lots of restaurants walkable and lovely old town.

Michel and Hanna offer the perfect vacation home for a family or a group of friends. Our kids loved the fully enclosed garden. The large Casino supermarket is just meters away, the Castellane city is a few minutes walk down the road. Noise is no concern at all, in fact, the nights a perfectly quiet.
Gemma showed us the house and provided all information we needed. Everyone is super fast in answering any communication.
We can't think of anything missing or something that could have been provided in addition - simply the perfect vacation house. Merci to the Besançon family and to Gemma! We very much enjoyed our stay!

We really liked this property, plenty of room and well equipped and very handy for the supermarket!
We used it as a base for exploring the area on our motorbike and this property not only provided a secure garage but also a comfy environment to relax in whether that was using the outside BBQ, the nice garden area or the comfy living room.
We would definitely return here for another visit.

We spent a pleasant week here in April with our three young children (5, 3 and 7 months) and our friends with their infants. The accommodation was flexible enough for all our different sleeping requirements and the garden was perfect for the children (secure and with play equipment). The kitchen was well equipped and the fridge/freezer and cupboards had plenty of room for all our food for the week.
