About this house rental
Peaceful getaway that is a short drive from Kansas City! Relax and enjoy this beautiful lake house that was built in 2020. It is the perfect place to escape from life’s chaos! If you are looking for a relaxing getaway or a friends weekend retreat, this is the place! Only 40 minutes from Overland Park in a gated lake community. We offer a lakefront fire pit, private dock, nearby golf course & wineries, outdoor eating space with gas grill - we have it all!
If you need to get away from the chaos and want a beautiful place to work remotely, this is perfect - with our high speed wifi, and multiple areas to work with a view of the water.
The professionally decorated 1,800 square foot house is located on a beautiful cove on the main lake at Linn Valley Lakes. You can fish, float, swim or kayak off the private dock (only kayaks are available - other boats are not available to rent). Deer Trace Golf Course is located in the community and is open all year long! It offers an 18-hole golf course, putting green, and driving range. If you are not a golfer, visit the Lake Shop on the weekends for bbq, ice cream, pizza and other treats!
Indoor Living: Gas fireplace, four TVs, Play Station 5, more than 20 board/card games, selfie spot with smiley face art, WiFi, two computer work spaces, and a fully equipped kitchen.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms: Primary bedroom is located on the main level and has a door to the deck. It has a king size bed and small work station perfect for a laptop. There is direct access to the laundry room and bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom is in the loft so there is not a door for privacy. It has a queen size bed, makeup table (which could also be a laptop workspace), and a private bathroom with a tub/shower. The third bedroom is located in the finished lower level. It has a queen size bed, Play Station 5, direct access to the patio, and a full bathroom with a shower. None of the bedrooms have room darkening shades - just blinds. There is a lot of natural light throughout this house, and the sunrise is bright! If you plan to sleep in, we recommend bringing a sleep mask.
Outdoor Living: Private deck and patio, outdoor dining area, selfie spot with hanging chairs, yoga equipment, fire pit, swim dock, lily pad, and kayaks.
Kitchen: Stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, wine glasses, drip coffee maker, crockpot, blender, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, and silverware.
EV Charger: The universal EV charger is available to use.
General: Free WiFi, keyless entry, shampoo, soap, linens, washer and dryer, central heating and air conditioning, trash bags, and paper towels.
FAQ: ring doorbell (faces the front of the home), quiet hours are 9pm to 7am, three stairs required to access the house, sloped walkway required to access the private dock.

We just spent another wonderful week at this lake house!This is our second visit in 2 years and this review is simply a repeat of last year's review. Nothing has changed except a larger bed in main bedroom, a nicer ladder into the lake, and fewer life jackets in the closet. It's a lovely house in great condition with everything you need for a stay at the lake from towels to toys. There are 4 kayaks, 3 life jackets, beach towels, and all the swim toys you need. There are two living areas in the house which is really nice for families. The deck is covered and the outdoor furniture is in good condition. The area is quiet during the week but not too much activity on the weekend. Inside the house, the bath towels are big and fluffy and there are paper products for your use. We plan to stay here again next year!

We booked this property as a family vacation and it was absolutely perfect! Plenty of space for everyone to spread out indoors and outdoors. There were lots of activities to keep everyone busy and tons of space for us to enjoy eachothers company. Beautiful home and property. We can't wait to go back!

This home is the perfect place to relax and recharge. The owners have included everything you need to have an amazing stay. The view from the porch is gorgeous and we enjoyed seeing all of the birds in the trees. We had a blast kayaking and hanging out on the dock in the sun. I highly recommend staying here!
