You can't get any closer to the beach...- miles of soft sandy beach at your doorstep. Great getaway from cares of the world!
“Contactless” Check in/ check out procedures have always been in place and CDC approved cleaning products are used by our cleaners. Special attention is given to high touch areas inc. Kitchen and bathrooms, light switches, and remote controls.
Weather is unpredictable.....can be sunny, stormy, or wild and windy but Hot tub is great any kind of weather:). It’s sure to be memorable!
This house has something for everyone. Adults and kids will enjoy views of beautiful sunsets, harbor seals at 'the point', and long beach walks. Everyone will enjoy the hot tub and your well-mannered dog will love it all! Annie's House is inviting, warm, and very comfortable. The open floor plan, large stone fireplace (wood not provided) and wall of windows will set the tone for the perfect family gathering. We'll let the pictures tell the story!
This home is a wonderful retreat for a couple, small family or two couples. A Bose music system and Wi-Fi are provided. There are 2 flat screen TVs ( master bedroom and living room) with Netflix subscription. The house has two bedrooms, one with a new king size bed, the second bedroom has a queen size bed. The master bedroom has an ocean view, TV, and attached full bath. The second bedroom has a stunning view of the Waldport bridge from its own private deck and a 6 person hot tub. You can view the bridge lights at night and sunrises in the morning! The kitchen is stocked with everything you would expect: dishes, glasses, silverware and appliances including coffee maker, Keurig, grinder, toaster as well as spices and some staples. You will love the view from the dining table.
Other amenities include two full baths, separate laundry room with W/D and laundry sink for sandy towels. A propane Weber grill is available seasonally. Also included is an attached two-car garage and protected porch for viewing the beach on those windy days. The single-level layout makes this house accessible for most guests.
If the beach isn't enough for you, there's the (seasonal) community pool ( for a fee) kite flying, tide pools ( nature is free!) dune buggies, the Newport aquarium, Sea Lion Caves, Yaquina and Heceta Head Lighthouses....and the list goes on!
Bring your kids, bring your dog, and leave your cares at home.

PS. Every effort is made to be sure the house is as represented here. Obviously, there are times when things break, batteries fail or remotes go missing! (Just like your house!) We try our best to correct these issues ASAP. However the universe is not under our control and we appreciate your understanding and flexibility!
We strongly request that guests not "re-program" television or add game systems etc that may change the configuration of inputs. This is so frustrating to correct and is not fair to the next guest!

The location & view of this house--unbeatable. Even in the variable weather of early winter on the coast, we felt very connected to the beach & ocean, both inside the house and out. That said, I have never before rented through VRBO and arrived to so little information on managing the space/equipment. The hosts have a single page on the property--nothing on managing the hot tub (which seriously needed a cleaning/refill) or even how to manage the temperature of the house (!!). As for accessibility, this house is moderately lacking. Little to no ventilation, lighting options are either dim or investigative (no in-between). No need to bring your squatty-potty; both toilets are 1980s kindergarten height (not exactly optional, and could be a major issue for someone with mobility/age/knee issues). That said, the living room furniture was great (supportive, cozy, ample). I've rented a dozen houses on PNW beaches over the years and this house is a grab bag of best and worst features. You get what you pay for, and beach view/access is worth a pretty penny. With minor adjustments, I would re-rent this property; without, probably not.

Comfy home but very musty and poor ventilation. We enjoyed the fireplace when the weather got rough! Kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook in. Very charming but tight space with teens! The beach is a short stroll across the sand.
