Welcome to your tranquil country refuge on South Whidbey Island. This quiet, end of the lane, lovely private cottage is full of amenities and acreage for your comfort and entertainment. The apartment is connected to fiber optic network so there is excellent connectivity for work or play. We also added a level 2 EV charging station for EV car owners.
Enjoy morning coffee on your private porch overlooking lush green gardens and forests. The cottage sits on 5 acres of wooded, tranquil land at the end of a country lane. The clean, elegant, and spacious private living area is light-filled and airy with its high ceilings and many windows and skylights, which illuminate the space with light and views. Listen to the songbirds fill the air with their melodies as you sip your morning coffee on your private porch. Have a picnic on the grass and watch for eagles, hawks, and ospreys circling in the sky above or take long walks along the secret forest paths of Whidbey.
Just minutes from downtown Freeland and a short drive into the charming seaside town of Langley. This delightful spot is a short distance from some of the Puget Sound's most lauded landmarks, including Double Bluff beach, several scenic nature trails, a variety of small towns and harbors, and plenty of famous restaurants and bars, as well as an array of historic landmarks. We are minutes from Freeland's antique shops and within walking distance of the Earth Sanctuary.
The kitchen is equipped with granite counter tops, a small refrigerator, hot plate, coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, dish ware, pots and pans, cooking supplies, and basic condiments. The living room has two sofas, dinning table, TV with streaming, and free WiFi access. The shelves are stocked with an assortment of games, cards, and books for your enjoyment. The full bathroom with its lovely tiled floors and granite counters is filled with light from its own skylight. Enjoy a queen size bed in the large bedroom along with a full/double hide-a-bed in the living room. There is plenty of closet space in case you decide to stay longer.
We'll provide breakfast makings for the first morning, snacks, coffee, tea, cream, sugar and honey.
This super quiet place will leave you nurtured and nourished by its splendid views and quiet nature sounds.

Good communication, clean place with every thing we needed. Quiet place to get away to, very roomy. Enjoyed the deer and rabbits and fresh eggs.

(3 people in July) This house has a great atmosphere. Nice location, private, but still close to other homes. Easy to park.We appreciated the nice welcome and thoughtful first breakfast very much!We enjoyed the balcony with nice view on surrounding trees. Well kept garden, we liked spotting birds around the house.We appreciated the shower and bathroom and towels very much. Lamp or sunlight choice works well when applying make-up :) Sofa could be a bit better though :) Thanks for a lovely stay, and making us feel welcome and at home!
