About this house rental
This house is very close to the Chateau de Versailles and Paris Eiffel Tower!!
Our home is a beautiful 1920 home recently renovated in a high-end residence in Versailles.
It is ideally located in a quiet location:
- A few steps from the RER C (5 minutes walk). This RER C line will take you to Paris (Champ de Mars station, next to Efffel Tower).
- Few steps from the house you will find:
o Small supermarket,
o twice a week food market,
o bakery,
o wine shop,
o hairdresser,
o pharmacy and dry cleaner.
The House:
- Fully equipped kitchen: refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster.
- Spacious and bright living room
- 4 bedrooms equipped with two double bed or single bed
- Two bathrooms
- Garden with all you need to enjoy the afternoon lunch or BBQ
- Also equipped with: Washing machine and drier
Other things to note
• Pool: public pool is ten minutes away (walking distance)
• Parking: You can park in the garage house 1 to 2 medium cars, Also around the house, you can find free parking.
• Housekeeping:
o linens
o Towels
o Every day cleanings (if needed, 30 eur extra per day)

Check-in was a breeze. We were met there by the host and shown the ins and outs of the house. It was stocked with initial supplies. We replenished before we left. Some welcoming treats were left in the fridge for us. Unfortunately, Porchefontaine was closed (and the machine broken) the first few days we were there. We walked a mile to the next closest station to get our transport tickets. Getting back from Disney was nearly impossible after fireworks using public transport. Most of the stations close. Get an Uber back. Getting there was no problem.The listing stated there was a dryer, and we were counting on the dryer working to wash clothes before leaving for London. The part to fix the dryer was unavailable and we were told to use the drying rack. It was extremely humid and clothes were not drying. They were also left very wrinkled. I understand that this may have been out of the host's control since the part was unavailable, but when we asked for compensation, our message was ignored. We used our empty suitcases to walk to the grocery store and get food. The Carrefour Supermarket was great. Carrefour City is close and good for quick needs (milk, water, etc.).

We very much enjoyed the house. It was close to all the businesses in town and the RER. This made our travel to Versailles and Paris very convenient.
