Instagram-ready 3 double-bedroom house next to castle and city

Lovely old house, lots of character, and equipped with everything you need. Perfect situation, beside the castle and near the town centre, picturesque canal etc.

Great house, beautifully decorated with everything you could need for a great getaway. Lots of stairs though being across 4 floors so not for those less mobile which was fine for us. House has high ceilings throughout other than the basement kitchen/diner (which is beautiful) but my 6ft4 sons head touched the ceiling which we laughed about! Beds are really comfortable and better quality than we have ever had in a rental. Lots of lovely extra touches like tea, coffee, cereal, washing products and even lovely toiletries, as well as dog beds and a bowl! The towels were great quality too. Host was very pleasant to deal with and he made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The location of this house is simply perfect and stunning looking out directly onto the castle and just a few minutes from the town centre shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay again.
