Schitterende chambres d’hotes op een idyllische locatie. Gastvrije ontvangst, heel vriendelijke mensen en een mooie stijlvolle kamer.
Absolute aanrader om ‘s avonds mee te eten bij het gezamenlijk diner. Het eten is heerlijk, een combi van Aziatische en Europese keuken. Ook voor de tieners werd goed gezorgd qua menu.

La Grange des Ecrins is in a beautiful location at the base of the (southern side of) French Alps ‐ just past the city of Gap. The property is well-maintained and inviting. I liked the charm of the property. Every room is uniquely decorated with a different view of nature, and the rustic style of the hotel transports you to a relaxing hideaway.
Another wonderful feature of this property is the breakfast (included) and dinner (optional). The chef creates a unique fusion of local cuisine and Asian flavors (dinner) that will take your palate on a delicious adventure.
The entire staff was very accommodating. When I needed something for my room or while dining, the response was prompt and gracious.
While on my retreat, I wanted to explore the nearby village and do a short walk/hike. JB is very knowledgeable of the area (including the national park); so, he made some recommendations for dining and took me to the best place for my short hike. He also told me about special events at the hotel and in the nearby village throughout the year.
This was just the getaway that I needed, and I do plan to return.
They have an indoor-outdoor cat on the property. If you have pet allergies, you will need to take this into consideration.
