Exit 407 in East TN is called the Gateway to Adventure. Smoky Mountain Gateway is located just 1 mile off this exit. The freshly remodeled home sits on a large lot on a quiet cul-de-sac street with about 9 other homes. Easy access to Winnfield Dunn parkway to take you straight to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Minutes to Smokies Stadium and Douglas Lake. Close to many restaurants and grocery store. 5 miles to the new $90 million dollar Soaky Mountain waterpark!

Everything was great. It was just as described. The location allowed us acces to the Smokey mountain National Park as well as Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We all enjoyed the pool table and board games. It was clean and comfortable.

House was very clean and was very accessible to gas, groceries and restaurants along with entertainment. There is some noise at night from freeway traffic. I would recommend bringing your own bar of soap for showering. It was nice to unwind with a few games of pool. Overall stay met our requirements.

For the most part the property was an ok stay. Communication with the owners was easy, as they responded quickly. Location was decent, it is on a little backroad so if you are coming in at night it is dark and hard to see. The stairs leading up to the porch are needing to be redone, we all had issues with them during the stay. There is a ramp on the back of the property but it's hard when you have someone with you who does have mobility issues. The house inside was nice, but does need a few things taken care of. There were ants in the main bathroom. The third bedrooms twin bed was noisy and the bunkbed/futon wasn't very secure. The other two bedrooms were nice, and clean. The shower in the master suite is very small and hard to turn around in. It was nice having a pool table for some entertainment other than watching TV. The setups of the two bedrooms were nice and there was plenty of places to put our items. Overall it wasn't a bad stay.
