About this apartment rental
The studio is located on the ground floor of Chalet Barbara on a sunny southern slope above Jaun in Gruyere. The view of the valley and the opposite mountains is much appreciated, as it has similarities with the rose garden in the Dolomites. The apartment or Studio is also happy to work by individuals, for example, to do research, u. at the. used, because here it is quiet and you can go directly from the house into nature. Directly behind the house begins the alpine area and mountain region. In winter, the access road ends here.

This was a fantastic find and we were overall very pleased with everything about the chalet. The location, communication with the property manager, and the chalet itself were all amazing.

Thomas is an amazing host, as from the get go he was very responsive & helpful with any queries. The Chalet Barbara is a truly magical place and the family history attached to it makes is even more special!
The hike up there is a bit of a challenge with luggage if you are on foot, as we had to climb during very heavy rain - but the views certainly makes it all worth it.
Stay here if you get the chance - you are sure to love it! :)
