This 5-bedroom + Loft, 5.5-bathroom home lies within the Spanish Peaks Club of Big Sky. The Andesite Lodge boasts phenomenal, unobstructed views of the Spanish Peaks mountain range, multi-level living, elegant custom wood finishes, and curated designer furniture. Surrounded by rich forest terrain, this home offers a true escape from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. This home is a unique Montana mountain home under the Big Sky!
In Winter, find yourself nestled into a true Winter wonderland. The ski access is unmatched once the residential lifts open for the season. Simply walk to the groomed residential trail from the front door! Big Sky Resort or, "The American Alps," grants you access to some the BIGGEST skiing in North America. For the Nordic skiers, the world-famous Lone Mountain Ranch is just an 5-mile drive from the home. Find yourself exploring a what seems to be endless wonderland of groomed Nordic trails and snowshoeing. Other close by Winter adventures include snowmobile tours, sleigh-ride dinners, snow-coach tours of Yellowstone National Park, guided ski tours in Yellowstone, dog-sledding tours, and more!
Ski Access: Access is weather permitting. Big Sky Resort has 6000+ acres of skiable terrain, using the ski in/out access trails from this home can take you 25-35 minutes to get to and from the main base area. We recommend this ski access for a more experienced skier.
Ski Out: The groomed, "Papa Bear" trail is a short walk from the driveway. This leads you directly to the Lewis and Clark lift. Skiing back to the home will have a few more steps, detailed instructions will be provided within the home for your convenience (feel free to give us a call with any advance questions).
In Summer, escape from the hustle and bustle to truly escape from it all. This home boasts an impressive landscape. Adventure the vast explorable terrain to include natural landscaping surrounding the home, an expansive deck overlooking the wooded forest with Wilson Peak towering above granting amazing views to be seen from the home, and a private hot tub. In addition, easily access a multitude of local hiking and mountain biking trails. The world-famous Gallatin River is just a 7-mile drive from the home. Enjoy community events such as the Farmer's Market and Big Sky's free Summer Concert Series (Summer events are generally spanning from mid-June through early-September). Other close by Summer adventures include whitewater rafting, guided fly fishing, kayaking, zip-lining, horseback riding, hiking, hot air balloon rides, world-class mountain biking and more!
For the Yellowstone National Park adventurer, this home grants quick access to highway 191 south which leads you to the West entrance of Yellowstone. Marvel at the unspoiled scenery during your 45 minute drive along the historic Gallatin River to the entrance of the park. This section of the park provides access to Old Faithful, Gibbon Falls, the largest gathering of Bison, and hiking trails.

Wilson Peak Property Manager is excellent to work with. Communicative, proactive and quick to respond (even with small/quick questions). Kitchen is well stocked and there is enough room for everyone!

Large enough to comfortable host a large group without feeling crowded, e.g. teenagers can get their own wing of the house. Very nice!

This lovely home was perfect for our long-planned family vacation. Although delayed by travel snafus, once the whole family arrived, with children in tow, the home was perfect! Warm, well appointed, and spacious. All enjoyed the large fireplaces, cozy couches and pillows, and various places to enjoy either group, or quiet time. Lovely time, and we would return in the future! (I would NOT recommend the "ski-in/ski-out" for children, as it can be a bit challenging, and confusing, but for the adults, it was great!)

Really wonderful house. Only comment is getting to the mountain and back was not easy. Some sort of shuttle service would be excellent.
Also, a boot warmer/dryer would be great.
