Needed a place near Stanford for a kids camp. This was near the train but we didn’t really notice and it was a quick bike ride everywhere we wanted to go.Yard could use some upkeep but otherwise easy and convenient.

We stayed at this Palo Alto home with our family of five (three young kids) and had a comfortable experience. The location was excellent, and the host was friendly and generally responsive—communication could have been a little better at times, but nothing major. The house was fairly clean, though a touch more attention to detail would have made it even better. Our kids loved the backyard playground structure! We also appreciated that the host was gracious in allowing us to have approved visitors, since we were in town to see family. The only downside was a neighbor who shushed our kids for playing outside at 10:30 a.m., which felt a bit excessive. Overall, a good stay—we gave it 4 stars

A one-story house with a classic California style ('Eichler') and an ample kitchen. The lemon tree in the backyard gives the house a nice aesthetic.
