About this cottage rental
Large self-contained cottage on a rural lifestyle block. The cottage is located on the same property as the owner’s residence . A perfect place to escape the grind and get back to nature.
Property is close to Tangihua Forest where you can go hiking and hunting. Handy location to Whangarei City (22 min), and great for day trips to nearby beaches such as Whangarei Heads, Ruakaka and Dargaville. Get in some fishing at Marsden Point as well where you can also check out the refinery.
Come home afterwards to relax on the deck, and enjoy the sunset and stargazing.
NZ’s iconic Hundertwasser Art Centre and Māori Art Gallery, suited at the Whangarei Town Basin is well worth the visit. There is a cafe and on the top of the gallery is a garden with rare native species.

The property was easy to find with accurate directions from Anita.It is fully self contained, tho we found, despite there being tea and coffee facilities, there was no milk provided. Maybe just an oversight,

Lovely setting, very clean but absolutely nothing provided for a traveller like milk, or a little salt for when you arrive.
