My wife and I had the most wonderful stay here! The condo has everything you need for a short or longer stay (e.g., modern appliances, stocked kitchen), and the layout provides that cozy, fun tropical feel that you’re looking for in a trip to the Hawaiian islands! Also, the AC units worked great which is a plus since it can be pretty hot/humid. In terms of location, it’s a 3-minute drive (15 min walk) to the nearby shopping center with some cute restaurants/cafes, and a 15 min drive to get into town, so it definitely helps to have a car; you’ll want one anyway to explore all the beautiful sights the big island has to offer. Can’t recommend this condo/community enough, they have pools and nearby beaches and it feels safe and like you’re at home! Marlene, the owner, was so great to work with too, we’ll definitely be back!

The accomodations were great. The bedroom was extremely comforfable. The kitchen was fully equipted and the attention to details were prefect. Beautiful place thanks for great time

We had a delightful stay at this rental. The property is newly remodeled, well-stocked, and was perfect for the family with small kids. Grocery was on a minute's drive. They also kept beach and snorkel gear for the guests. Host was gracious and promptly responded to all our queries. Every piece in the condo is unique and tasteful. But the highlight of the condo is the lanai with a gorgeous view and the furniture setting. We spent hours enjoying the view including sunsets. We also spotted dolphins and whales from the lanai! This has been one of the best rentals we have stayed in, in Hawaii. We will go back again!

We've stayed at other units in Kanaloa and this was the nicest of the bunch! Beautiful ocean views, the condo is very spacious and clean. The kitchen is very well-equipped: excellent stove (induction), good knives, big refrigerator, plenty of spices to choose from, good quality pots and pans, cooking utensils, etc. Oh, and there's a wine fridge on the lanai - very nice touch. The main bedroom has a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. There were plenty of extra towels, and the first aid kit came in handy, too. We would happily stay in this unit again.
