The Gordie is a chalet style log cabin with privacy and comfort. Relax at this peaceful farm stay surrounded by animals and nature. The bedroom has a new sleep number mattress, while the upstairs loft provides a great open space outfitted with a twin trundle bed for up to two children or additional guests. The private patio and 220v hot springs hot tub for 3 with Moto massage are steps from your cabin. Fresh eggs are available when needed and on-site owners assure you will need for nothing. This is a pet friendly cabin with a small fenced in area off the back door for your pet(s). RV/Travel trailer parking available.

What a great place to stay very clean very friendly Scott and his partner did a great job has a great place and will definitely be staying there again and referred to eight of my friends who are definitely going to be staying in their cabins

We had the best time at this cute little hideaway! 5 minutes from downtown Black Mountain, quiet and safe. We enjoyed feeding the animals and the farm fresh eggs left by the owners. Loved the soaps and room spray in the house, the nespresso and the adorable fireplace. The hot tub was perfect! A friend and I were there for a quiet girl’s weekend and were completely relaxed. The cabin was precious and cozy, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Our stay at The Gordie cabin was absolutely perfect in every way. Scott and Jake left no detail behind from the fresh farm eggs, to the soap and shampoo from a local Black Mountain boutique. Waking up to the chickens and goats every morning was such a joy. Carrots and dried worms were provided for feeding, which my son was very excited to do each day. A quick five minute drive to downtown Black Mountain and twenty minutes from Asheville. Can’t wait to come back in the fall to peep them leaves!

This was the perfect rental! It was super clean and appeared brand new. The host was very responsive to my questions I had which was so appreciated. The animals on property were such a fun addition to our trip. The hot tub was also a nice touch. We brought our dog and she enjoyed it as well. We absolutely plan to stay here again!
